Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join the Benoni-based team in the FMCG sector. The role focuses on analyzing data to identify inefficiencies and optimize logistics, inventory, and distribution processes within the Benoni network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain/Logistics/Industrial Eng/Statistics) required.
• 1–3 years of supply chain analysis, logistics or operations experience preferred in FMCG.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) needed.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and interpret supply chain data for inventory, transport, warehousing and demand forecasting.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate insights to management and cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve service levels and efficiency across Benoni supply chain.
• Collaborate with logistics providers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth product flow.
