Job summary

Lactalis South Africa is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee the Port Elizabeth and Babelegi Plant in Gauteng. You will maintain sound financial controls, drive reporting and provide timely information to support operational decision making.

The role requires a degree in finance (BCom/BCom Financial Management) with CIMA advantageous, at least 8 years post-qualification experience in a food FMCG manufacturing environment, and strong leadership and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting with Honours.
• CIMA qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in financial management.
• Proven track record in financial management and controls.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Management and Production Accountants to support production managers.
• Maintain fixed asset register and internal controls.
• Oversee daily treasury and payment processes.
• Prepare weekly KPI reports and monthly financial close.
• Drive cost control, budgeting, and CAPEX evaluation.
