AVI Limited is hiring a Manufacturing Manager for the Snackworks Isando Biscuits Factory in Kempton Park, Gauteng. You will lead and support the production team to meet customer requirements, maintain world‑class quality, and drive cost‑effective operations.

The role requires at least 5 years in FMCG manufacturing management, with unionised environment experience preferred; continuous processing and high‑speed packaging exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in production/operations/manufacturing management in FMCG.
• Unionised environment experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience with Continuous Processing & High Speed Packaging machinery is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Drive high efficiency, quality and low waste in production.
• Coordinate production and liaise with support functions.
• Manage cost‑effective labour in line with MANMAPS.
• Analyse production issues to minimise risk and downtime.
• Ensure SOPs and WI implementations are in place.
• Recruit, identify and develop talent; performance management.
• Oversee budget, cost effectiveness and CAPEX input.
• Support NPD processes and maintain SHEQ compliance.
