Job summary

Tiger Consumer Brands Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Stock Controller to manage orders, receive and inspect goods, and maintain accurate inventory records for the FMCG operations in South Africa.

The role involves stock rotation, cycle counts, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards are met. The ideal candidate will have Matric or an equivalent certificate in Stores or Logistics and 2-3 years of FMCG experience, with basic computer skills to operate inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent certificate in Stores, logistics or supply chain.
• 2-3 years FMCG experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders on the system. Pragma stock control and report to the Maintenance Coordinator.
• Receiving and Inspecting Goods: unload deliveries, check items against packing slips or invoices, inspect for damages or missing parts.
• Inventory Control and Record Keeping: update computerized inventory management systems, log incoming/outgoing stock, track serial numbers for tools or equipment.
• Stock Management: organize items on shelves, rotate stock (older items first), conduct regular cycle counts or monthly stock take.
• Order Picking and Dispatching: pick, pack, and stage items for internal departments or external customers.
• Stock Reordering: monitor low stock thresholds and communicate with procurement or management to replenish supplies.
• Housekeeping and Safety: maintain a clean, secure, organized storage environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
