Job summary

Premier FMCG is seeking a forklift operator to safely load, unload and move goods within our Krugersdorp warehouse. You will stack pallets, position stock for dispatch and perform daily checks to maintain GMP, quality and housekeeping standards.

The role requires a valid forklift license, a National Certificate/NQF Level 4, and at least three years of FMCG forklift experience. You must be able to rotate shifts, work with others, and comply with SHE and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• National Certificate or NQF Level 4 qualification
• At least 3 years forklift driving experience in FMCG environment
• Valid forklift license

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods and moving between storage areas
• Remove waste and storage equipment from receiving bays
• Move storage equipment between areas
• Plan and locate goods for dispatch
• Stack goods on pallets
• Move stock to wrapping machine
• Plan and arrange tasks to maintain service delivery
• Conduct daily checks and complete checklists
• Perform minor forklift maintenance such as cleaning
• Refill gas timeously to prevent gas depletion
• Report mechanical issues found during inspection
• Maintain housekeeping and GMP compliance
• Ensure proper stacking of secondary packaging and pallets
• Assist with forklift operation in other areas as required
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations
