Job Description
Role Accountabilities:
- Provides input into BU or Segment People plan.
- Develops and implements tactical and operational people plans in response to business and people challenges.
- Partners with Senior Management teams to advise on people challenges and on how to improve people performance of teams.
- Advises on people priorities for the future, using insights from HR Analytics and trends.
- Manages the efficient implementation of the HR Calendar.
- Develops and implements tactical organisational development and effectiveness interventions to address short-term business needs.
- Advises Senior Management teams on improving employee engagement at all levels and on building a high-performance culture aligned to the overall segment plan.
- Manages the implementation of the Segment Talent and Leadership plan for a designated area.
- Advises Senior Management teams on responding to change efficiently and effectively.
- Manages adherence to HR controls and implements new controls as required.
- Ensures compliance with transformation plans for the segment.
- Contributes to HR synergies across OMEM.
- May manage a small team of HR Professionals in a large business.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner.
- A postgraduate degree is advantageous.
- Experience within the financial services industry is advantageous.
- Ability to demonstrate high personal impact and influence to build trusted advisor relationships with business leaders.
- Solid employee relations experience is essential.

It partners with Senior Management teams and is responsible for implementing HR plans and providing advisory services. The role may include managing a small team of HR Professionals in a large team.
Responsibilities include:
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop procedures, interpret, and apply policies to achieve outcomes or advise on policy application, monitoring implementation within the organization.
- HR Frameworks and Tools: Identify requirements for HR frameworks and tools for recruitment, performance management, development, succession planning, compensation, benefits, diversity, onboarding, offboarding, and retention, ensuring compliance and integration with broader HR policies.
- Information and Business Advice: Provide specialist advice on policies and procedures, resolving complex issues and enabling appropriate actions.
- HR Data Analytics and Insights: Use HR data to diagnose business issues and identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and performance.
- Employee Relations Case Management: Investigate complex employee relations cases, coordinate responses to legal cases, and ensure accurate casework.
- HR Data Management: Develop and test HR data collection procedures to meet compliance requirements.
- Personal Capability Building: Act as a subject matter expert, maintain external accreditations, and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Internal Client Relationship Management: Manage relationships with internal clients, build credibility, and support business strategy deployment.
