About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Fleet Operations Manager to lead and optimize their extensive fleet operations based in Randburg . This leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of fleet management, including maintenance, safety, compliance, and cost control, ensuring the highest levels of operational efficiency and driver performance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance fleet productivity and reduce operational expenses. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing large fleets and a commitment to fostering a culture of safety and excellence within the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for fleet maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Oversee driver management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and compliance with regulations.
• Ensure adherence to all legal and safety regulations pertaining to vehicle operation and transportation.
• Manage the fleet's budget, controlling costs related to fuel, maintenance, insurance, and parts.

Requirements
