Job description

The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Branch and aftermarket team to ensure adherence to best management practices within their areas of responsibility. The role focuses on meeting key performance criteria, service delivery objectives, procedures, and actions aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Inspect all equipment serviced and repaired by Toyota Material Handling technicians.
  2. Identify chargeable work during inspections.
  3. Ensure quality of workmanship.
  4. Conduct EOT inspections on site.
  5. Verify that all rental equipment has valid load test certificates.
  6. Investigate re-work issues.
  7. Identify potential risks.
  8. Reduce maintenance costs (LTR and STR).
  9. Perform final checks on PDI and rebuild units before delivery.
  10. Establish and maintain good customer relations and drive service excellence.
  11. Conduct regular meetings and provide feedback to GM and relevant departments.
  12. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and good corporate governance.
  13. Encourage, develop, and implement operational innovations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the forklift industry.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Qualified diesel and/or petrol mechanic with experience in forklifts or similar material handling equipment.
