DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our company's fleet of vehicles.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and executing efficient repairs to ensure vehicles are running at optimal performance.

You will collaborate with fleet management to prioritize and schedule maintenance, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and stay updated on industry trends.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on the company's fleet of vehicles.Conduct thorough inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical issues.Execute timely and efficient repairs to ensure the optimal functioning of vehicles.Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.Collaborate with fleet management to schedule and prioritize vehicle maintenance.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all repair activities.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in a systematic manner.Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and Toyota vehicle specifications.Source and order necessary parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance tasks.Provide guidance to other team members when required.RequirementsProven experience as a mechanic, preferably with expertise in Toyota / Mahindra vehicles.Must have sound knowledge of Diesel engines.Knowledge of truck and petrol engine would be an advantageKnowledge of auto-electrical would be an advantageKnowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.Familiarity with various vehicle models, systems, and specifications.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fleet maintenance environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Certification from a recognized automotive training program.
