Job description

The Fleet Data Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing data analyses and data collection strategies to optimize the statistical efficiency and quality of the Fleet Department. Utilizing Power BI and other systems, analysts will transform data into comprehensible, goal-oriented reports, trends, and forecasts, driving continuous innovation and growth within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Establish databases, define data collection methods, and implement analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality across fleet operations.
  • Power BI Development: Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports to reflect fleet performance metrics, enabling real-time data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to support data analysis needs and ensure effective communication.
  • Training and Support: Lead training initiatives on data tools and Power BI to enhance departmental capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Consolidation and Management: Consolidate essential data sets like Sales, Stock, Fleet Customers, and Budget Data to streamline reporting.
  • Ensure data collection processes support statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Translate business requirements into reporting solutions, selecting appropriate methods and tools.
  • Develop and manage dashboards in Power BI for various data segments, facilitating visualization and access to real-time data.
  • Interpret data to identify trends and generate actionable reports for strategic decisions.
  • Align data analytics with strategic objectives by working closely with Fleet management.
  • Forecast future fleet sales trends using data insights.
  • Continuously seek process improvements through data analysis and analytics practices.
  • Lead training initiatives to empower team members in using Power BI and other data tools.

Requirements of the Job:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Statistics, or related field, with strong data handling knowledge.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a data analyst managing large datasets and generating reports; proficiency with Power BI and analytics tools.
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of databases and statistical software; ability to perform detailed data analysis.
