Job Title: Fleet Controller

Location: Springs, GP, Gauteng

Job Summary

We are seeking a Fleet Controller to oversee all aspects of fleet management, including productivity, wages, fuel consumption, and route planning. The successful candidate will assign tasks to drivers, track orders and deliveries, and monitor driver and vehicle performance to improve productivity. Additionally, responsibilities include coordinating vehicle maintenance, scheduling services, and ensuring vehicles remain in a safe, roadworthy condition through regular inspections and repairs.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all aspects of fleet management (productivity, wages, fuel consumption, route planning, etc.).
  2. Assign and ensure tasks are completed by drivers.
  3. Track orders and deliveries.
  4. Monitor driver and vehicle performance, seeking ways to improve efficiency.
  5. Coordinate vehicle maintenance, including scheduling services and COF inspections.
  6. Conduct monthly inspections and arrange for services and repairs.
Requirements
  • Matric certificate.
  • Computer literacy, especially in Excel.
  • At least 3 years of experience in fleet management.
  • Own transport.
  • Sober habits.
  • Willing to work long hours, including public holidays and weekends.
