Job summary

Job Purpose

The main purpose of the role is to support the Flavor Creation team in all aspects of flavor development with the goal of participating in the ADM Academy of Future Flavorists.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Blend/compound flavors according to existing recipes developed by the flavorists.
  2. Self-development and on-the-job training in flavor raw material recognition, flavor design, and application.
  3. Work closely with CD&D, Sales, Product Management, Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, and Operations.
  4. Adapt recipes after consultation with flavorists.
  5. Support flavorists on projects.
  6. Document data in the IT system.
  7. Maintain tools and technical equipment.
  8. Support administrative flavorist requirements in systems like SAP and Office.
  9. Organize laboratory activities, order lab requirements, and handle shipping of products.
  10. Follow GMP, ISO procedures, GLP, GFP, safety protocols, and record-keeping requirements.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Science Degree, preferably in Chemistry or Food Science.
  • Experience in a flavor house is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
