Job summary

Nurture Health is seeking a passionate and patient-centred Fixed-Term Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team from 19 October 2026 until 02 April 2027. Reporting to the Therapy Manager, you will help patients relearn or adapt everyday activities to improve independence, participation, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Registered with HPCSA for Occupational Therapy in Independent Practice.
• Proven experience in physical rehabilitation with holistic assessment.
• Knowledge of Health Professions Act and OT guidelines; professional/work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ functional participation and develop, implement, and monitor OT treatment plans.
• Deliver interventions like ADL retraining, neurorehabilitation, cognitive rehab, and assistive device prescriptions.
• Conduct home and workplace assessments, educate caregivers, and document care records.
