Job description

One of our public sector clients are urgently in need of experienced Fixed Asset Admin clerks to join their JHB team on a 6-month contract.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Matric
  2. 3 year diploma - Finance / Accounting / Business Administration
  3. At least 1 full year of asset and inventory admin experience
  4. Familiar with ORACLE, Excel
  5. Familiar with Treasury, PFMA, GRAP
  6. Valid drivers' license
  7. Must be available immediately to start
  8. Great track record as reference checks will be conducted upfront

  1. Update the fixed asset register
  2. Support the Asset Controller
  3. Process miscellaneous transactions
  4. Adding and updating quantities on system
  5. Assist with SOP development
  6. Close and open new asset stores
  7. Addressing RTM issues
  8. Perform monthly recons - inventory and asset
