Fitter and Turner

Fitter and Turner required in Cape Town Northern Suburbs.

A well-established Manufacturing Engineering company is looking for a Fitter & Turner to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.

Very good salary on offer (subject to background and experiences).

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• F&T Trade Test Certificate.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience after trade.
• Energetic, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel to China if required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Preventative Maintenance Routines.
• Competence in Welding, Milling, and Turning.
• Familiarity with Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
• Experience with Gearboxes, Water Systems, and Cooling Towers.
• Basic Electrical Skills.
• Ability to perform Bearing and Shaft Changing.
• Aptitude in Fault Finding and Diagnosis.
• Knowledge of Lubrication techniques.
