Job summary

Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages is seeking a maintenance fitter for Parow, WC. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment by following the maintenance operating system and identifying root causes for improvements.

You will extract learnings and provide feedback while maintaining equipment performance. Responsibilities include fault finding, scheduled maintenance on equipment, repair of breakdowns, coordinating maintenance jobs and ensuring SHEQ compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Qualified trade tested fitter.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2-3 years experience in an FMCG industry would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyse, propose and implement opportunities for improvement.
• Line Monitoring.
• SHEQ Responsibilities.
• Perform scheduled maintenance (preventative and non-routine planned) on equipment.
• Repair breakdowns on production equipment, including utilities.
• Perform mechanical component of production change overs.
• Coordinate and plan maintenance related jobs.
