The Fiscal Compliance Analyst will lead financial activities and analyze past financial performance to predict future performance in order to advise Palms Medical Group on its financial strategy.
The role requires a strong understanding of fiscal policies, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, monitoring compliance, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
Description of Primary Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor accurate financial records for all funds and fund types, including utility operations, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, general ledger, cash remittance, and fixed assets.
Review accounting procedures and policies; recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness; monitor segregation of duties for internal control.
Organize, coordinate, and prepare the annual budget, ensuring compliance.
Gather and analyze data to monitor and improve financial status of branches / departments.
Review financial reporting and investment activities; recommend procedural, operational, and financial control improvements.
Draft operational and risk reports for management analysis.
Analyze business and financial data.
Create financial models to support organizational decision-making.
Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for data efficiency.
Provide relevant financial information to the executive management team.
Correspond with company executives, staff, and regulators; investigate issues; evaluate regulatory actions; organize and write reports based on financial analysis.
Monitor PMG compliance and initiate actions in non-compliance situations.
Oversee grant compliance, reporting, and draw schedules.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding of budgetary and accounting principles, practices, and policies.

Knowledge of office equipment : computer, multiline telephone, email, scanner, fax, calculator.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and related tools.

Licenses & Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration required; Master's preferred.
Minimum five years of related experience required.
CPA certification preferred but not required.
Communication Skills :
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Physical / Mental / Emotional Demands :
Long periods of standing, sitting, viewing monitors.
Physical activities including bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds.
Use of office equipment and effective communication with diverse populations.
Exposure to potential health and safety hazards, including chemicals, radiation, and infectious illnesses, with adherence to safety guidelines.
