Job description

First Aid Trainer required in Brackenfell, Cape Town.

Have you provided formal training in First Aid? Our client in Brackenfell is growing their team of training facilitators, and relevant experience and tertiary qualification are required. Excellent communication in both English and Afrikaans is essential.

This role entails extensive traveling within the whole of the Western Cape, and a valid SA drivers license is essential.

Requirements:

• Matric, or similar qualification
• BAA or AEA Qualification
• Firefighting and OHS Qualification advantageous
• Proven experience in First Aid, Fire and OHS Facilitation & Assessment
• Valid SA driver’s license – compulsory
• Clear criminal check
• Computer literate in MS Office including PowerPoint
• Fully bilingual with excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Ability to work in a structured way and adhere to standard course guidelines
• Ability to be creative in the learning environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Travel to training destinations throughout the Western Cape
• Facilitate and assess OHS training courses and provide feedback to the Training Manager
• Ensure that the highest standard of training is facilitated
• Lead a group session in a smooth, organized and creative manner
• Manage training equipment and material
• Build sustainable relationships with clients and learners
