An established industry player is seeking dedicated emergency medical personnel to provide life support and emergency treatment in a pre-hospital setting. This role involves responding to fire alarms, performing rescue operations, and participating in technical rescue operations. Salary Range : $19.13 - $24.00 Hourly
Performs advanced technical work providing life support and emergency medical treatment to sick and injured persons in a pre-hospital setting.
Assists in fire suppression, technical rescue, hazardous material response, fire prevention, and other duties.
Work is performed under limited supervision of a fire officer, paramedic, or designated supervisor.

This is an essential position requiring readiness to report during emergencies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read, write, understand instructions, and communicate effectively. Good health, strength, and motivation for arduous work. Ability to learn city layout, evaluate dangers, and take immediate action. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces with protective gear. Proficient in operating fire and medical equipment and technology. Knowledge of emergency medical procedures, regulations, and basic life support. Strong judgment, calmness under stress, and leadership skills. Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent. Less than one year of ALS emergency medical experience or equivalent education and experience. Some college coursework in EMS preferred; associate/technical degree preferred.
Requires exertion of over pounds of force, and frequent physical activities including standing, walking, climbing, and working in various conditions.
Must meet NFPA medical standards.
