An East London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Specialist to lead on compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act, and related legislation across a portfolio of high-risk residential buildings (HRRBs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Principal Accountable Person for structural and external building safety.
  • Develop and implement fire and building safety strategies.
  • Oversee contractors, budgets, procurement, and asset data.
  • Ensure timely submission of Building Safety Cases.
  • Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator and other stakeholders.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure legal compliance.
About You:
  • Extensive experience in fire/building safety compliance, ideally in housing.
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Safety and Fire Safety Acts.
  • Degree/diploma in Construction or Fire Safety.
