InsidEntity in Durban is seeking a skilled designer or draughtsman to join our fire protection team, bringing precision and safety to every project.

You will design systems, perform hydraulic sizing, conduct site assessments, and prepare documentation for tender submissions.

Collaborate with consultants and clients to deliver accurate drawings, manuals, and ASIB paperwork while handling related duties.

Responsibilities

• Design & Drafting: Prepare compliant fire protection system designs tailored to tender requirements.
• Hydraulic Calculations: Accurately determine pipe sizing for sprinkler systems.
• Site Assessments: Conduct flow tests, site surveys, and detailed measurements.
• Documentation: Produce drawings, fabrication lists (with pricing and stock info), O&M manuals, and ASIB documentation.
• Client Liaison: Work closely with consultants and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• General Duties: Tackle additional tasks as directed by management.
