Sanlam Fintech x seeks a Technical Lead to drive architectural direction and lead a fintech agile team under the CTO. You will mentor engineers, shape system design, and collaborate with Design and Product Management.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in software development with 3+ years in leadership and demonstrated experience building distributed cloud systems using AWS/Azure/GCP and modern backend/frontend stacks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead/Senior Engineer/Architect)
• Proven distributed systems design/build in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong backend skills (Java, Python, Node.js, Go) and frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and API design (REST/gRPC/GraphQL)
• Hands-on with SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, Docker) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Leadership and mentoring能力 to grow engineering teams
• Fintech/banking experience is a plus and strong stakeholder management skills
