Job description

Fine Wire Extrusion Operator – Honeydew, Johannesburg.

A specialist in fine wire electrical cable manufacturing is on the hunt for a hands-on, skilled Extrusion Operator with solid experience in fine wire extrusion using copper conductors.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team at a well-established manufacturer in Laser Park, working on an in-house extrusion line used for producing high-precision electrical wire harnesses.

Salary: R12 0500 – R14 000 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• Solid hands-on experience with fine wire electrical extrusion
• Experience in a cable or harness manufacturing environment is essential
• Must understand the extrusion process: dies, insulation, heat blocks, etc.
• Physically healthy, dependable, and keen to work

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a fine wire extruder (0.22mm²–2.5mm² copper conductors)
• Perform bunching, insulation and machine calibration duties
• Troubleshoot the extrusion line and maintain quality standards
• Work closely with an experienced team member during the initial handover phase
