Job description

Our client, an independent financial services firm committed to providing expert financial planning and wealth management solutions to their clients, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Financial Advisor in their Stellenbosch office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert financial advice and planning to clients.
  • Conduct financial needs analysis and develop personalized financial plans.
  • Advise on investment options, wealth creation, and risk management.
  • Assist clients with offshore investment applications and other financial solutions.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services.
  • A relevant qualification (BCom, CFP, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, tax planning, and estate planning.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial planning software.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach to financial planning.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Professionalism and ethical conduct in line with FAIS regulations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Salary offered: Market related depending on number of years’ experience plus commission.

Starting date: As soon as possible.
