Job summary

Old Mutual in Cape Town is seeking a performance-driven sales professional to deliver excellent client service while promoting Old Mutual and other financial products. You will meet lending targets, educate clients on credit use, and build a strong new business pipeline through marketing and referrals.

As part of a target-driven team, you will maintain compliance with governance standards, manage risk, and deliver on daily production and service quality.

Qualifications

• Matriculation certificate or equivalent.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Ability to educate clients on financial products.
• Target-driven with a track record of meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Meets monthly sales targets in terms of lending and other products.
• Meets collections and arrears targets in terms of lending products.
• Educates clients on responsible use of credit and money management.
• Establishes a new business pipeline through marketing, lead generation and tracking.
• Adheres to internal, regulatory and legislative governances to ensure quality business and mitigate risk.
• Facilitates intra branch referrals by building mutually beneficial relationships with other business units.
• Provides excellent face to face and telephonic service to customers.
• Builds sustainable relationships that enhances the brand.
• Delivers on daily production standards and adheres to service and quality standards
