Job summary

TIH in South Africa seeks an outbound/inbound policy sales professional to initiate relationships, conduct needs analysis and present customer solutions. You will work with leads and campaigns to hit KPIs in a regulated financial services environment.

The role requires Grade 12 / SAQA equivalent, RE 5 and FAIS recognition (Advantageous); a Diploma in Insurance is also advantageous. 2-3 years telephonic sales experience in financial services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or SAQA equivalent.
• RE 5 and FAIS recognised qualification (Advantageous).
• Diploma in Insurance or equivalent (Advantageous).
• 2-3 year telephonic sales experience (Essential); Financial Services experience (Advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships through inbound or outbound calls to grow new business.
• Interview customers using a multi-level script to clarify requirements and needs.
• Identify products/services that best meet customer needs and close sales.
• Follow policies, procedures and regulatory codes to ensure compliant work.
• Enter call details and update CRM to support retention and business development.
• Prioritise workflow to meet productivity, quality and SLA targets.
• Engage in ongoing personal capability building via online training systems.
• Identify potential customers and sales opportunities from existing relationships.
