Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with the sales team to manage product allocations and stock levels.
• Monitor stock availability and forecast demand to ensure the timely fulfilment of customer orders.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and assist in inventory planning.
• Coordinate with suppliers to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Support the sales team in executing sales strategies, promotions, and product launches.
• Ensure seamless communication between sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize stock movements.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, sales figures, and product forecasts.
• Perform financial reconciliations and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Review and analyse financial statements to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
• Implement internal controls and auditing processes to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and compliance documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory and financial transactions.
• Track and analyse cost structures to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Assist in pricing strategies by analysing financial impact and market trends.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
• Develop financial models to support business decision-making.

Requirements :

• Education :
  Accounting undergraduate degree completed (SAICA accredited).
• SAICA articles completed.

Experience & Skills :

Proven experience in a planning, inventory management, or auditing clerk role, ideally within a retail or wholesale environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and financial data effectively.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for meticulous planning and financial accuracy.

Other Requirements :

Own car and valid driver’s license (transport required for the role).

Must be able to work in-office (not hybrid) with flexible hours based on candidate needs.

Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation :

• Market-related salary and depending on experience: Roughly R28,000 – R32,000 per month.
