Financial Sales Manager – Sanlam (Hybrid | Based in Pretoria)

Location: Hybrid (Preferably based in or near Pretoria, but flexible)

Sanlam is looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing advisory team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in financial services to build a team from the ground up or bring across established advisors from other institutions — all with the backing of one of South Africa’s most respected financial brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of financial advisors.

• Transition existing advisors or build a new team under your leadership.

• Drive performance, compliance, and exceptional client service.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and business development direction.

• Ensure your team meets and exceeds Sanlam’s standards for quality and production.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years’ experience in financial sales and team leadership.

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BCom, Finance, Economics, or similar).

• RE5 and FAIS-compliant (CFP will be advantageous).

• Strong recruitment skills and industry network.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and leadership.
