Job description

A vacancy for a Financial / Reporting / Administration Manager at a Johannesburg based company has become available. This role is in an engineering work environment and requires the applicant to be office based. The primary function of this role is to produce monthly management accounts including balance sheet income statement and supporting schedules as well as manage and drive all the financial functions of the business. Experience working with foreign currency and contracts will aid in your application.

Qualification:

Tertiary qualification in accounting BCOM BCOM honours. CA qualification advantageous.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. The applicant must at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
  2. Solid knowledge of financial processes systems and related laws.
  3. Must have been responsible for managing accounts to balance sheet and income statement.
  4. Experienced in financial reporting and analysing of management accounts.
  5. Must have been responsible for ensuring that accounts are accurate and meaningful and information contained in the accounts is accurate and relevant.
  6. Experience working with foreign currency and contracts.
