A well-established FMCG company based in Johannesburg is seeking a proactive and dynamic Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include exposure to various financial aspects such as accounting, accounts payable, cost accounting, and treasury functions.

Key duties:

1. Providing financial reports
2. Interpreting statements
3. Recommending actions
4. Ensuring accuracy and reliability
5. Managing monthly closing processes
6. Analyzing costs and pricing
7. Reviewing payroll
8. Maintaining fixed asset registers
9. Reconciling bank and creditor accounts
10. Addressing tax-related matters

Education: CA(SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar environment
2. Exposure to FMCG or Retail
3. Knowledge of best practices in internal controls
4. Solid understanding of local employment legislation and policies
5. Commercial awareness
6. MS Office and advanced Excel skills
7. Strong reporting
8. Ability to work in a fast moving, high pressured environment
