As part of FNB Retail Finance, you'll work with diverse talents in an environment that fosters curiosity and effective change.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships within FirstRand franchises and the Corporate Centre, including Group Treasury, Group Finance, and ERM.
Participate in industry discussions on IFRS and financial reporting developments.
Analyze new markets the group plans to enter.
Produce market commentary on peer group banks' press releases and trading updates, analyzing the impact on market position.
Conduct in-depth competitor analysis of financial results and strategies at a product level, understanding domestic competition strategies, income drivers, returns, volatility, and forecasts.
Analyze other market data such as BA , NCA data, and Pillar III information.
Support performance measurement work streams, including risk-return frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile Support analysis of franchise / segment targets and hurdles.
Assist resource allocation and optimization decisions.
Coordinate risk-return frameworks and risk appetite setting.
Maintain internal analysis data, including historical and current time series, and presentation packs.
Build HFM SmartView files and processes.
Support FCC projects affecting Performance Measurement.
Provide backup support for team processes as needed.

Qualifications & Experience BCom Finance / Accounting (CA advantageous).
Experience in research on topical financial matters.
Ability to produce reports and presentations for internal committees.
Experience implementing robust databases for analysis.
