Job summary

Headhunters in South Africa seeks an experienced client services professional to drive the client services experience within Financial Planning practices. You will manage administrative processes, liaise with planners and providers, and ensure compliant onboarding and ongoing service delivery.

The role requires knowledge of FAIS/FICA, Xplan exposure, and strong communication. You will support operations, NAV/CRM tasks, and coordinate documentation and client communications.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in the financial services industry advantageous.
• Relevant tertiary qualification or financial services related courses advantageous.
• Financial services industry knowledge.
• Understanding of FAIS and FICA legislation.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); SharePoint; AI tools and social media.
• Xplan experience.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• High energy, customer centric and relationship orientated.
• Methodical, accurate with meticulous attention to detail.
• Initiative-taking work ethic.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage projects.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Critical thinking: strategize, research and interpret.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the client services experience as defined by the Head of Operations.
• Take responsibility for administrative processes in Financial Planning practices.
• Liaison between Financial Planner Partner and product providers.
• Follow the formal complaint resolution process.
• Be the point of contact for clients to deliver requirements on behalf of Financial Planning Partners.
• Adhere to Treating Customers Fairly in all interactions.
• Collate client information and prepare documentation for engagements.
• FICA/AML capture and check onboarding, alignment to checklists.
• Submit new business applications with supporting documents to providers.
• Monitor underwriting and acceptance of new business transactions.
• Arrange medicals and follow up until completed.
