Financial Planning Analyst (6-Month Contract)
Location: South Africa (Hybrid Work Model)

We’re on the lookout for a results-driven and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join a dynamic and collaborative finance team on a 6-month contract. If you thrive on strategic planning, analysis, and delivering meaningful financial insights that drive decision-making, this might be the role for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be supporting the FP&A Manager with all things planning, forecasting, and reporting. This includes developing financial models, performing variance analysis, and collaborating across departments to ensure well-informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust financial planning models
  
  
• Support the Strategic Business Plan, Annual Financial Plan, and rolling forecasts
  
  
• Conduct variance analysis and assist with monthly management reporting
  
  
• Prepare financial analysis and valuations for business cases
  
  
• Collaborate with HR, Supply Chain, Tax, and Treasury to align financial inputs
  
  
• Ensure accurate submissions into Essbase and other planning systems
  
  
• Contribute to internal and cluster-level review presentations
  
  
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes
  
  
• Assist with ad hoc analysis, reports, and finance projects
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  
  
• 3–5 years in financial planning/analysis roles
  
  
• Strong Excel and financial modeling experience
  
  
• IFRS knowledge and multi-currency reporting exposure
  
  
• Familiarity with SAP, Essbase, or Hyperion (advantageous)
  
  
• Studying towards or completed CIMA (bonus!)
