Sanlam Developing Markets [SDM] (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited) is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market. It aims to understand the unique requirements of clients and offers a wide range of simple and affordable financial solutions that cover needs such as funeral insurance, savings for education, life cover and personal accident plans. SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which focuses on retail products and group schemes within the Sanlam Group.
The role involves providing professional and relevant financial advice, planning, and products to new and existing clients, building long-term relationships, and ensuring compliance and ethical standards are met to promote the Sanlam brand and business growth.
Grade 12; FAIS 'Fit and Proper' requirements; successful completion of Regulatory Examination if registered with FSCA for over 24 months.
Financial advice, compliance, client relationship management, financial planning, and recommendations.
Effective communication, tech-savviness, action-oriented, interpersonal skills, and persuasiveness.
