Job description

Job Title : Financial Services Administrator / Assistant

Job Location : Fourways

Job Purpose :

The Financial Services Administrator will support the financial services team by managing administrative tasks, client communications, and financial documentation. This role is ideal for an ambitious graduate professional eager to grow within the financial planning or client services field.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Follow up on instructions with stakeholders, manage client queries, and request documents.
  2. Prepare and post quarterly reports, complete forms, and handle client documentation.
  3. Compile investment proposals, track new business, withdrawals, and other financial instructions.
  4. Schedule meetings, manage the advisor’s diary, and monitor meeting action items.
  5. Ensure compliance with legal and estate planning documents, and update FICA and FAIS records.
  6. Assist with general office management and attend client presentations and events.

Requirements :

  1. Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
  2. Preference for qualifications in investment management, financial planning, accounting, tax, or CFP.
  3. Minimum 1 year experience in a financial services environment.
  4. Knowledge of FAIS and FICA regulations.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Driver’s license and own vehicle.
