Compensation & Rewards

Competitive commission structure (up to %), vesting bonuses for the first two years, performance bonuses (13th cheque in December), training allowance of R26,, paid over the first three months, interest-free technology loan of R16, and membership in pension and group life schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain strong client relationships through networking and prospecting.
  2. Conduct face-to-face client meetings to assess financial needs and provide suitable financial solutions.
  3. Offer professional financial advice with a focus on client retention and long-term financial planning.
  4. Monitor client portfolios, manage policy renewals, and address unpaid premiums or cancellations.
  5. Apply risk management principles to maintain a profitable client portfolio.
  6. Utilize financial planning tools and industry knowledge to support clients effectively.
  7. Stay updated on market trends, compliance requirements, and product offerings.

Required Skills & Competencies

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Strong networking and prospecting abilities.
  3. Client-centric approach with a commitment to ethical conduct and professionalism.
  4. Sales-driven mindset with the ability to generate and convert leads.
  5. Proficiency in computers and technology for managing client portfolios.
  6. Degree or relevant industry qualifications (preferred).
  7. RE5 Certification (preferred but not required).
  8. Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  9. Financial industry experience (advantageous).
  10. Clear criminal and credit record.
