We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a Finance degree to join our well-established financial services company in the remittance industry.
This is a senior role with significant responsibilities, including the management and control of liquidity across the country with over payout points.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Liquidity Management: Forecasting, monitoring, reconciliations, and control of liquidity.
Strategic Planning: Ensuring the financial stability of operations through effective forecasting and funding strategies.
Risk & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
Problem Solving & Decision Making: Analyzing complex financial data and providing actionable insights.
Reporting: Direct reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations and an indirect reporting line to the CFO.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to Zimbabwe and Malawi.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: A Finance degree is a must.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
Treasury Forecasting & Funding: Prior experience in treasury functions will be an advantage.
Professional Qualifications: SAICA / SAIPA articles will be an added advantage.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent forecasting capabilities.
