Job description

A multinational Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Financial Manager to join their newly established Shared Service Team.

The successful candidate must have experience working in a multicurrency and multi-branch environment, as they will oversee the finance functions of three international sites. Experience in establishing and managing a finance team in a dynamic, evolving environment is essential, as the Shared Service function is continually transforming.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Preparing monthly management accounts for the three sites.
2. Overseeing Accounts Payable management and processing taxes for the sites.
3. Preparing Annual Financial Statements.
4. Presenting financial findings to the International Head of Finance on a monthly basis.

The ideal candidate is dynamic and experienced, with at least 6 years of management experience and a relevant Finance Qualification. SAICA Articles are preferred. Experience in the Freight or Logistics industry is highly advantageous.
