The successful candidate will have various duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • BCom or relevant degree in accounting.
  • BCom honours with articles will be an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant or Financial Manager within the Motor Industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparation and analysis of Management accounts.
  • Timely preparation and implementation of budgets.
  • Preparation of forecasts.
  • Completion of relevant statutory returns.
  • Oversee internal audits at the Dealership.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Issuing and posting of cashbook payments.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monthly reconciliation of General Ledger.
  • Control petty cash.
  • Ability to identify financial risks and implement solutions.
  • Monitor current controls and report non-conformances immediately.
  • Able to implement policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Understanding of accounting principles.
  • Good understanding of incentive scheme calculations.
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturer and Imperial requirements.
