Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a skilled finance professional to lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury operations within a project-driven environment in South Africa. The role partners with operations to optimise funding and cost control.

You will assist with management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis, deliver insights on budgets and forecasts for decision-making, and liaise with banks and auditors while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of finance experience.
• Exposure to cash flow forecasting, treasury, management accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience in a project-based, engineering, construction, manufacturing, services or operational environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow forecasting and support effective treasury and banking operations.

• Support debtor, creditor and cash collection activities to optimise cash flow.
• Assist with the evaluation of projects, contracts and commercial initiatives from a financial perspective.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with banks, auditors and other external stakeholders where required.
• Identify process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency and overall financial performance.
