Financial Manager (Car Rental Agency)

Location: Isando, Gauteng

Salary: R75k basic per month

Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • CA(SA)
  • 3+ years as a Financial Manager
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, with specific exposure to the automotive industry
  • 3+ years of corporate experience and people management
  • SAGE ERP systems knowledge is advantageous
Responsibilities
  1. Manage the full financial accounting function, including inventory, debtors, creditors, VAT, fixed assets, general ledger, company taxation, cash flow, forex, and insurance
  2. Review and submit monthly flash results and management accounts
  3. Prepare quarterly board packs
  4. Budgeting and forecasting
  5. Monitor and interpret cash flows, predicting future trends
  6. Produce financial reports related to debtors and creditors
  7. Facilitate half-year and year-end audits; liaise with external and internal auditors
  8. Ensure governance and compliance, including improving internal controls
  9. Manage the performance of finance staff, including KPI setting
  10. Manage finance-related systems and internal controls
  11. Assist the General Manager with ad hoc projects
