Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage the finance department, fostering growth and personal development.
  2. Design and implement robust financial controls to safeguard integrity and accuracy.
  3. Prepare monthly management accounts and report key financial analytics.
  4. Meet monthly reporting deadlines to shareholders, providing insights on significant trends.
  5. Ensure completeness and accuracy of actual vs budgeted financials, explaining variances.
  6. Perform month-end balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
  7. Maintain fixed asset register and shareholder loan schedules.
  8. Conduct monthly VAT reconciliations and submit VAT submissions on time.
  9. Optimize cash flow management across all administered businesses.
  10. Review and approve payment requisitions.
  11. Process and document general journals with audit support.
  12. Prepare annual statutory audit files and address audit queries.
  13. Develop and complete annual financial budgets for each business.
  14. Ensure statutory and compliance document filings are up to date.
Skills & Experience
  • SAIPA or SAICA qualified with 1-3 years post articles commercial experience.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • SAGE Evolution experience not essential but beneficial.
Qualifications
  • PA(SA) or AGA(SA).
