Job Description: To partner with the business in providing financial expertise and advice, and develop supporting processes to enhance the delivery of financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage monthly management accounts end-to-end, including validations, ICP matching, and loading data into HFM, Essbase, & Planner.
2. Oversee headcount, variance analysis, balance & income statement commentary, and trend analysis.
3. Manage SLA processes, invoicing, and swift payments from subsidiaries in Africa, liaising with SLA owners in South Africa, and ensure monthly SLA breakdowns and system agreement.
4. Foster organizational cooperation to ensure professional service delivery across RMB & FNB.
5. Prepare monthly cost analyses with commentary.
6. Complete BA returns and tax computations monthly and annually, including transfer pricing reconciliation and providing tax advice.
7. Develop and manage budgets and cost controls to enhance efficiency.
8. Promote a service-oriented culture, build relationships, propose innovations, and ensure exceptional client service.
9. Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures, including preparing SLA agreements and participating in ad hoc projects.
10. Apply principles to record, adjust, and reconcile financial transactions, maintaining supporting documentation.
11. Identify process improvements and participate in projects, providing finance advice.
12. Implement internal controls to ensure operational integrity, identify risks, and disclose risk information appropriately.
13. Report on business operations and financial health, and stay updated on industry trends.
14. Contribute to a culture of sharing successes, issues, and ideas.

Qualifications: CIMA or newly qualified CA(SA) (advantageous). Experience in managing people. Proficiency in Essbase & HFM (non-negotiable). Advanced Excel & Qlikview skills. 1-2 years' managerial experience as a Financial Accountant. Understanding of FNB & RMB GL structure (advantageous).
