4 MONTH CONTRACT.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, including income, expenditure, balance sheet, cash flow, and forecasting;
- Coordinate annual audits and statutory financial reporting, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external auditors;
- Prepare of monthly cost centre financial reports and related monthly reports;
- Prepare reports in reflection of the funds and investments financial performance quarterly/annual processes;
- Develop reports on all accounting related matters inclusive of taxation matters in providing pro-active advice and recommendations on the business's financial approaches from an accounting and taxation perspective;
- In conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer, runs the annual budget setting, and planning processes, assuming progressively more operational responsibility for the budgeting cycle and process as knowledge of the organisation grows.
- Undertake and provide financial analysis, including costings/cost benefit analysis, as well as forecasting and cost projections as requested.
- Preparing Board presentations and presenting at the Board and Audit Committees
- Group Consolidation
- Financial Statement preparation and managing year-end audit process
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- BCom Honours in Accounting of Finance is essential.
- CA (SA) and or MBA is preferable.
- 7 - 10 years experience in a Senior Finance leadership role.
- Experience in managing a service delivery-orientated team.
- Strong working knowledge of finance processes and systems to drive efficiencies.
- Experience in cost management and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of service and operations management.
- Experience in project management and delivery.
- Ability to work under extreme pressure
