Job summary

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Philippi (Cape Town), is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee monthly management accounts, project costing, budgeting, and cash flow planning, while ensuring IFRS and SARS compliance and supporting audits.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting degree, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with financial systems. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Completed SAICA articles are highly preferable, but not a requirement.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Project costing, job cards, and profitability tracking.
• Budgeting and forecasting support.
• Bank, supplier, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Compliance with IFRS and SARS requirements (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
• Supporting audits.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation.
• Cash flow planning and financial analysis.
• Working closely with site managers and quantity surveyors.
• Internal controls and general financial administration.
