Financial Manager

The Financial Manager needs to take a proactive approach to the handling of all finance aspects of the North America and LATAM businesses and establishing processes and controls within the business to ensure accurate reporting to the directors and shareholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage cash flow forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including annual budgets, short-term estimates, and ad-hoc financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual results with supporting schedules and analysis across multiple countries.
• Provide strategic financial insights, tailoring financial reports to focus on key business drivers and operational performance.
• Continuously review and enhance financial controls, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls by managing internal procedures and governance and making suggestions for enhancements.
• Oversee and manage staff and outsourced accounting functions, ensuring seamless financial operations.
• Support and coordinate external audits, assisting auditors with year-end financial statements and queries.
• Prepare board packs, ensuring clear and comprehensive financial presentations.
• Oversee and manage short-term insurance policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead ad-hoc financial projects and contribute to the company’s growth and expansion plans.
• Support the CFO with financial analysis, special projects, and strategic initiatives.

• Ability to lead and manage teams, including both internal staff and outsourced financial partners.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Spanish proficiency is an added advantage to support our Latin American operations.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial and BI software.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Registration as Chartered Accountant
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a Financial Manager role in a multi-national company preferred.
• Manufacturing, Agriculture industry and international accounting experience are all advantageous.
