Job description

Stellenpak, a well-established fruit packing and cooling enterprise in Paarl, serving a niche market segment in the fruit industry, is looking for a seasoned Financial Manager to join the team.

The incumbent will be responsible for all the day-to-day financial management aspects of the company and will provide support to the General Manager with development of strategy. The incumbent must supply the GM and Board with accurate and timeous financial reports to ensure that strategic decisions can be made and implemented.

Key Performance Areas :

  • Timeous and accurate monthly management accounts
  • Budget and forecasting
  • Cash flow planning and management
  • Monthly reconciliations, accruals and journals
  • Income Tax and VAT compliance
  • Year-end audit preparation
  • Reviewing and improving internal financial controls (risk management)
  • Staff management and support to the finance team

Requirements :

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (BAcc / BCom)
  • Relevant professional registration will be advantageous (CA / CIMA / SAIPA)
  • At least 5 years post qualification experience
  • Experience in managing a team
