Job description

Are you looking for employment on the West Rand? A multi-national FMCG / Manufacturing company has an awesome opportunity for a Financial Manager to support the FD in the management of the full financial function, drive automation in the business, and advance the systems. Succession-planning opportunity!

POSITION INFO :

The successful incumbent will be a qualified professional with 3-5 years post-qualifying Financial Management commercial experience within the Manufacturing sector. You will manage a team of 7 direct reports and be responsible for the following:

  1. Review of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
  2. Supplier form review and authorization.
  3. Bi-annual loan covenants calculations.
  4. Cash flow forecast preparation.
  5. Release of bank beneficiaries (suppliers).
  6. Sign and approve foreign payments.
  7. Review and approve local payments.
  8. Review and approval of monthly journals.
  9. Review binders and authorize reconciliations.
  10. Prepare consolidation pack and consolidated AFS.
  11. Prepare XBRL file (for CIPC).
  12. Preparation of Year End Kits including all supplemental forms for Controller Roll-out Kit, I/S analysis, and other financial documentation for the new financial year.
  13. Prepare month-end kits including all supporting schedules - ensure all is in balance (interco sales etc.) and various other calculations.
  14. Gross Margin Analysis and Ratio Analysis.
  15. CAPEX Approval and Asset tagging & verification.
  16. Prepare monthly and annual royalties calculations.
  17. Co-ordinate new year setup amendments.
  18. Oversee delivery of all budget entries and consolidating information to final budget.
  19. Planning assistance and coordination of audit timelines.
  20. Maintain & distribute Stock Count Procedure / policy.
  21. Conduct detailed review of expense reports and assist with compliance.
  22. Staff management, performance reviews, and training organization.
  23. Assist other departments with GL coding and financial-related queries.

Advanced Excel and Syspro experience are essential!
