Financial Manager
Job description
Well established company on the East Rand seeks a Group Financial Manager who is available immediately or at a short notice period to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- BCom Accounting Degree essential
- Completed Articles advantageous
- CA(SA) advantageous
- Minimum three years experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in managing financial activities for a group of companies advantageous
- Financial analysis, Budgeting, and Financial reporting skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with financial management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Duties will include- Accountability for financial activities of a group of companies with operations in South Africa and up Africa
- Group reporting
- Cashflow management and expenditure control
- Managing relationships with bankers, external auditors and suppliers
- Strategic planning, working closely with other members of the Senior Management Team (CEO and COO)
- Monitoring and strengthening internal control processes and procedures
- Financial analysis, Budgeting, and Financial reporting
- Management of all staff in the Finance Department, ensuring a smooth workflow day to day
