Network Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function within a private hospital operation in Gauteng. The role involves partnering with the Hospital Manager and senior leadership to drive financial performance, provide insights, and support strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will have CA(SA) or SAICA-registered qualifications, 3-5 years in financial management, and strong IFRS/financial controls experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• SAICA registered advantageous
• BCom Honours with completed SAICA articles considered
• 3-5 years' Financial Management experience
• Strong financial accounting and management reporting experience
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Private healthcare/hospital finance experience highly advantageous

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of the hospital's full financial management function
• Prepare management accounts and quarterly and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Monitor financial performance, budgets and variances
• Oversee journals, reconciliations, CAPEX and fixed assets
• Ensure IFRS, VAT and financial control compliance
• Drive finance process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Provide financial insights to support hospital decision-making
• Lead and develop the finance team
• Partner closely with the Hospital Manager and senior operational stakeholders

This is a high-visibility role where you will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Senior Management Committee, providing financial insight, driving performance and supporting key business decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take ownership of the hospital's full financial management function
• Prepare management accounts and quarterly and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Monitor financial performance, budgets and variances

JOB EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Financial reporting and budgeting systems
